Meet Cort Carpenter...

Twenty-seven year old Nashville recording artist Cort Carpenter is the next undiscovered modern country music talent with all the potential to take it to the top. Cort possesses that professional work ethic, those smooth warm vocals, the "commercial" look, and the stage presence of an experienced superstar. If you have ever been to one of his concerts, you know that he is already a professional entertainer on the music stage. His energy lights up a room and makes you feel as if you were sitting at a stadium concert. Cort is waiting for his big break and hoping that he will get it by the right person discovering his talents and/or being signed by a label.

Cort lives in Nashville and is happy to call "Music City" his new home. Cort is excited for all the different opportunities in Nashville and says, "Moving to the heart of the country music scene was the best decision for my career at this time. I am ready to make some noise here in Nashville with my new band. I have been lucky enough to land a band that is at such a high caliber, and the real deal. They are young, driven, and very good. I smile every time I hear them play because I know I have some of the best players out there supporting me."

In fact, Cort and his band have been making lots of noise already by filling up the biggest venues in downtown Nashville, The Stage, Wildhorse Saloon, Second Fiddle, Legends Corner & Tequila Cowboy. People pack in to see this fresh new country music artist, and are instantly falling in love with Cort and the band. When playing on Broadway, the band is up to date and playing the hottest new cover hits that are currently popular on country radio. Cort's brand new 7 song EP entitled "Those Nights These Days" released in late January and has been very popular amongst fans around the country. The new fans keep pouring in daily for Cort and his band, and it's just a matter of time before he breaks through.

In his time away from music, Cort enjoys hanging out with his friends and family and spending time with his fiancee ', Kelly. He loves animals and likes to go to the movies frequently. Cort also loves working out and keeping in shape. Cort is a compassionate person who is thankful for everyone in his life and everyone who supports his dream and his music. He is truly a one of a kind soul who appreciates life and everything around him.

Cort C. Carpenter was born July 7th, 1986 in Longview, Washington. He's the son of two high school teachers and former coaches. His mom (Elana) coached cheerleading and also works as the high school art instructor. His Dad (Dave) coached football for 32 years at Kelso High School and now teaches P.E. and weightlifting. Cort has one sibling, an older brother, Rhett, who is in the construction safety industry and an ex-college football player at Central Washington University . As a youngster, Cort played String bass in orchestra from the 4th grade till he graduated high school. Following his mom's talents in art, he also excels in drawing and painting . Cort has a B.A. in Organizational Communications from the University of Portland, where he also starred as the starting first baseman on the baseball team. Cort was nominated as one of the top players for his position (1st base) in the entire West Coast Conference in 2009. Cort also holds the wood bat home run record for the NWAACC power house Lower Columbia College Red Devils.

Cort says his biggest country musical influences are Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, George Strait, Eric Church, Joe Nichols, Jason Aldean, and Johnny Cash.
